What are the common problems with coffee machines? Spare parts for coffee machines

Coffee is a favorite drink of millions of people around the world. Most of us cannot imagine a day without drinking at least one cup of the aromatic drink. More and more consumers are buying coffee machines to enjoy freshly brewed coffee at home. The main question is what type to choose.

In various home appliance stores, two types of coffee makers are offered. The first is with a handle. Most people prefer this type. Undoubtedly, coffee makers with a handle make better coffee. The working pressure of the device's pump is 18 bar. In this indicator, coffee makers with a handle differ from the so-called robots.

The pump of the automated devices works with a pressure of 16 bar. But this is not the only difference between the two types. Robotic coffee machines are much "more capricious" when it comes to repairs. However, on the other hand, automated devices save you valuable time and are more convenient to use.

In the early hours of the day we are in a hurry not to be late for work. And robot coffee machines are the best solution for our hectic everyday life. This is the main reason for their popularity among consumers. Everyone would like their morning coffee to be ready in minutes, without wasting time, as is the case when preparing the drink with a manual coffee maker.

The more automated the machine’s functions are, the higher its price. With some of the most expensive robot coffee makers, you’ll have your hot drink in a minute. The problems with this type of appliance are related to the ceramic grinders. They are among the strongest parts of the machine, but like all other parts, they inevitably wear out over time.

The problem with ceramic grinders breaking down is their price. If they break, you're better off buying a new coffee maker. While the brew from the hand-held devices is nicer, robots gain an advantage with their practicality.

Here are the most common problems with robot coffee machines.

  • Clogged water filter;
  • Incorrectly set control panel settings;
  • Cushioned seal;
  • Clogged water pipes;
  • Defect in some of the parts of the coffee machine;
  • Damaged pump

Defects in handle-type coffee machines

  • Clogged strainer in the handle (coffee will flow out very weakly)
  • Instructions
  • Damaged pump

Remember to use only filtered water to prepare your caffeinated drink. Otherwise, you risk getting limescale. This doesn't matter what type of machine you have. Even the automatic cleaning of the coffee machine doesn't help with limescale water.

Cleaning your machine should become a daily routine for you. Over time, the risk of oxidation of metal parts increases. This will not only affect the quality of the hot drink, but there is a risk that the machine will be irreparably damaged if you do not take the necessary measures in time.

Among the common problems with this type of appliance is water leakage. In this case, the filter may be clogged. Another possibility is damage to the machine's valve. If cleaning the filter and gasket does not work, then contact a professional technician.
