Locked Washing Machine Door – Late at Night How to Open Emergency?
While people have prepared to rest after the working day, we, as well as others like us, have decided to unwind after a busy day. We decide to run the washing machine to wash the clothes that have accumulated over the last few days and get rid of them as a commitment at least for day ahead. A common problem that can only happen to us despite our intentions to do our job in advance. The thing that can happen to us and the probability is quite high is that our device remains full of water during operation and some error type indication lights up and the door does not want to open to take out our laundry. Time is running out but we do not have a solution, I will list the possible causes of a defect in the device that can cause such a problem.
-Clogged filter from flower-catching tissues
-Problematic pump
– Engine problem
-Electronics problem
We as consumers are not experts in finding the exact problem in the washing machine, but we want to get our laundry out unharmed. The steps are quite easy and we will now go over them. -If the appliance is old, the emergency door opening option is to disconnect it from the power supply for about 5 minutes, the door will unlock itself and we can take out the laundry. We can disconnect the power from the ''Contact'', if we do not have access to it, which is very likely, we can directly from the ''Apartment Fuses'', removing them one by one until the washing machine loses light on the display.
Let's say the appliance is unlocked but there is water, we put a basin in front and open the door and put the clothes inside, however, the water will remain full of water which we can scoop into another basin or into a sink with a glass or bowl, whatever we have at hand. After you have scooped the water from inside, you can put a towel down low under the filter and unscrew it slightly to remove it to clean it. It is advisable to scoop all the water from the drum because it will pour out through the filter when you unscrew it.

After removing the filter, take a good look inside the hole to see if anything has gotten into the pump near the impeller and blocked it. In that case, when you start the washing machine, it will start and work for the first 20 minutes until it is time to pump it out and it will remain full of water again.

If the washing machine is one of the newer models, most of them have a so-called emergency opening, which is a plastic handle that is located at the bottom right next to the filter handle, it usually looks like this:

Pull down the plastic when the washing machine is on and then try to open the door. If you try to do this with the machine off, it only works with some brands of washing machines. Sometimes it works after 2-3 tries, but it works. If you did everything right, clean the filter as described above.

You can find errors for all Washing Machines on our blog.
And here we will finally talk about how to open the door IF WE HAVE BROKEN the door handle (that is, the handle has play and is loose.)
The scenario with opening the door is not a technique, it is more of a knowledge. The oldest and most tried method is with a shoelace that is passed between the door and the washing machine with one hand above the door and the other below and you pull back and with both hands to push the thumb. LIKE BEFORE DOING ANYTHING, JUST STOP THE APPLIANCE FROM THE POWER BECAUSE IF IT IS LOCKED AND HAS NOT FREED THE COMPUTER THE LOCK YOU WILL NOT ACHIEVE THE DESIRED RESULT AND YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME.
