Reasons why the oven does not bake properly
Spare parts for cooking stoves
Cooking has become a passion for modern man. Delicious food is an indispensable part of the modern standard of living. And to prepare our favorite dishes, we need a reliable oven. It can be said that this appliance is among the most important in every home.
One can live without some of the benefits of modernity, but the oven occupies a central place in family life. After all, it is the family that gathers around the dining table, on which delicious dishes are laid out, to tell about the events of the day or to celebrate someone's holiday!
But the oven, like any household appliance, can break down. One of the most annoying malfunctions is uneven baking. There is nothing more frustrating for housewives than cakes that are half-baked on one side. There are several reasons for this.
The most common is a failure in one of the heaters. This malfunction requires a radical solution, namely its replacement with another. It is recommended that the repair be carried out by a specialist who will guarantee the quality of the work. If you are not confident in your technical skills, it is better to contact an oven service.
Replacing a heater seems easy. All it takes is a little knowledge and a Phillips screwdriver in most cases.
The circular heater (Turbo heater) also affects the poor baking of food in the kitchen stove. It is located near the oven fan or around it. The problem with the circular heater is that it is quite difficult to see. When it breaks down, the stove heats up, but it is not like it was before (this is the customer's feeling). There is a case when a technician visits an address, measures the upper and lower heater of the oven and the conclusion is that the appliance is working! Yes, but the circular heater (turbo heater) is very underestimated and also plays a 40% role in the baking and good appearance of the food.
Among the other options for problems with the oven, the thermostat probe is also highlighted. Quite often in some appliances it is not in place and this happens after cleaning the oven, we inadvertently touch it and it is removed from its place and touches the radiator. In this case, the probe does not provide accurate data on the overall temperature in the oven but measures the heat of the radiator. The easiest way to understand is if you look inside the oven at the back left edge on top of the oven, there you should notice a thin white metal wire about 10 cm long. If this wire hangs down or has touched the radiator, it must be adjusted.
Often the cause of uneven heating of the oven is a defective thermostat. Over time, this part of the appliance also wears out. With a defective thermostat, there is a leak of the compressed gas contained in it and the thermostat does not work adequately or turns off earlier than the desired temperature or gives higher degrees.
Another likely cause of uneven heating of your kitchen stove is a failure in the lower heater, which every housewife who frequently uses the oven realizes has burned out not long after.
