Replacing an oven heater

The oven heating element is a key part that is easily replaced in most electric ovens and stoves. It is responsible for the heat needed to cook food. An electric current passes through the heating element, which heats it. However, over time, this part can fail and you will need to replace it.
In most ovens, there are two rows of heaters – one on top and one on the bottom. They have metal “legs” that are mounted on the ceiling or floor of the oven. The heater is attached to the back wall of the oven, held in place by a few screws. The base of the heating element is held in place by two metal prongs. These are connected to two wires in the oven.
The wires usually have female connectors located on the heater prongs. The connection and placement of the heating elements is extremely convenient, making them easy to replace even by users themselves.
How to change the oven thermostat:

Turn off the appliance.

Remove the back cover

Remove the heater

Install the new part

You can buy a replacement stove element in online stores  elektri4ko.com All you need is the oven model number, which you can take from the metal plate located on the back or around the door of the appliance.
Replacing the heater is quick and easy, even if the oven is built-in. Make sure which element is to be replaced. The resistance should also be measured, with the desired values being between 25 and 40 ohms. This must be done with the power supply disconnected.
Unplug the appliance. You should test the electrical cables to make sure the power is off before checking the heater. Remove the back cover of the oven, if it is built-in, pull it out first, there are usually screws on both front sides that secure it to the kitchen. You will need a Phillips screwdriver or a 20' Torx screwdriver. The first step is to find the heater and the bracket that holds it in the oven. Remove the screws securing the heater to the oven wall using a screwdriver or a nut driver.
Some heaters are connected to the oven in two places. Carefully pull the heater away from the back of the oven so that you can see the wires attached to the heater. Disconnect the wires from the heater so that they are free to pull. Double-check that the power to the circuit is off by testing for voltage at each end of the wire. Then unplug the heating element. Pull only the metal connector, not the wire itself, as you risk damaging it or pulling it out of the wire lug. If necessary, temporarily tape the wires to the oven wall. This way, you can continue working without letting the wires fall into the oven.
Install the new heater by sliding each wire connector onto one end of the element. Use pliers if necessary to squeeze the wire connections and make sure they are seated properly. (IT DOESN'T MATTER WHICH SIDE THE WIRE IS CONNECTED TO – YOU CAN SWAP THEM INTO THEIR PLACE AND THERE WILL BE NO PROBLEM.)
Slide the reotan into place so that the mounting plate is against the oven wall and the screw holes match. Reinstall the plate and test the appliance. Secure it to the back wall of the oven with the mounting screws. Turn the oven on to the “Bake” mode to check that the new reotan is working properly. It should glow a steady bright orange while it heats up.
