How to connect a device to a Wi-Fi network

Depending on the brand, the application is different, but in essence its functions are the same for most types of appliances.
The main things you will need to make a wireless connection to your washing machine, water heater, refrigerator, or oven are:

2. Smartphone
You should keep in mind that most appliances are designed to work with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Accordingly, your household appliance and smartphone will need to be connected to the same network.
There is a special QR code on your washing machine, refrigerator or water heater. If there is no such option, you will have to connect the device yourself.
- Scan the QR code to download the corresponding application. The name of the application varies depending on the manufacturer and brand, but the functions are the same. After scanning the QR code with your smartphone, you will be redirected to the application store.
- Follow the instructions on your mobile device to install the application. When you download the application, you must create an account. You log in to your application account using the details you provided when registering on the manufacturer's website.
- Turn on your device and the Wi-Fi connection option
Make sure the washing machine's remote start is enabled. - Scan the QR code again.
Select your appliance type and make sure the necessary permissions are checked, some washing machines like AEG, Miele, Bosch, Candy have a sensor with an antenna that turns on the Wi-Fi of your appliance. Use the app and connect your washing machine or refrigerator to your home Internet network. You can assign a name to your appliance in the app to complete the process.
Manually connecting to Wi-Fi
1. Download the app
Install the application, create an account or log in using the same details you used to create a profile on the manufacturer's website.
2. Turn on the device and the Wi-fi option
Activate the Bluetooth function and/or the connection to your home wireless network on your washing machine. Also check if the option is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Connect your phone to the washing machine
In the app, select your appliance type and connect it to your home network. Pair your phone with the washing machine via Bluetooth.
4. Connect the device to your home Wi-Fi network
The app will prompt you to connect the washing machine to your wireless internet. Find your home Wi-Fi and enter the password. You can name your appliance in the app.
The good thing about all this is that there are options in the phone application to download additional programs that are not present in the device. From there you can model and create programs to your liking. This will create more convenience for you.
