Bosch washing machines are among the most popular appliances, and not only in our country. But even these appliances sometimes display error messages. This can be due to various problems with their operation.
Most experts advise that if you see a corresponding code on the display of your Bosch appliance, especially while the operating cycle is on, you can reset it. However, even if the errors are not erased, the washing machine will continue to function normally.
However, if the E21 code appears and the appliance door is closed, it is likely that the motor brushes are already irreparably damaged. Therefore, the system must be reset as follows:
- we set the program dial to 6 o'clock;
- we hold down the centrifuge button, which is different for each device;
- the entire display should light up;
- then the washing machine is turned off;
- we turn on the machine and the programs should load;
- if necessary, the individual steps are repeated;
Common errors include water problems, drainage problems, or unbalanced loads. This is why you need to reset the machine's programmer. And for this purpose, turn off the washing machine.
When you turn off the appliance, the current cycle is stopped and the internal state of the machine is reset. It is preferable to also unplug the machine from the outlet. Leave it unplugged for a few minutes.
This pause allows the machine to completely reset and can potentially clear any minor electronic issues. While the washing machine is turned off, check for the causes that could be causing the error:
Make sure that the water supply to the appliance is normal. Also check the hose for kinks. There may also be blockages in the drain. Make sure that the hose is installed correctly and at the correct height.
If the load in the drum is uneven, this may cause unbalanced load detection errors. Try redistributing the laundry. Run a test cycle without laundry to make sure everything is functioning properly.
Use a program that does not have specific loading requirements, such as a rinse or spin function. Clearing errors on Bosch washing machines:
